Helluva Boss is no Hazbin Hotel. It does not even come close. But does that mean I hate the show? No—I don’t even actively dislike it. There are redeeming aspects to this internet series, but it’s also got a lot of the bad parts of Hazbin, with a lot less of the charm.

Each is about two minutes, give or take, and—I’m betting for budget or time reasons—it has no actually voiced characters. There’s just “reaction sounds” that could have easily been taken from an existing movie.

I vaguely recall the original Winx Club show. My main memory of the series was the catchy 4Kids intro and that it was similar to W.I.T.C.H. But I know that among many it was a childhood classic.

The focus on imagination and crazy visuals over story, the bulbous CGI style, and the emphasis on family/teamwork are all here, oozing out of every pore. If you can’t get with that, then just don’t bother with this.
