Trailer Review: Archenemy
I was almost completely dismissive.
But then I saw the trailer.

Reviewing I’m the Grim Reaper is a novelty. To my knowledge, this is the first time we’ve covered a Webtoon on Scifibloggers.

She-Ra is not only a good show, but perhaps a great one. It’s a child-friendly epic fantasy. Warring factions and ancient magic and large battles dominate its plot. It has a much closer feel to Avatar than Barbie, with good writing and strong characters.

Maybe I don’t need to tell you about Among Us, the indie game that blew up in popularity. Even if you don’t know it by name, you’ve likely seen the little spaceship characters that exist to be betrayed by imposters.

Megatomic Battle Rabbit is a little out of my usual purview for a few reasons. The first simply because it’s a comic book. I’m predominantly a movie and television critic, but I know instances of good writing when I see it.

The most impressive thing about Solitary is how few resources were used to make it. It’s microbudget, finished remotely due to the pandemic, and still a good film.

Bill & Ted Face The Music Proves Itself I was a fool to underestimate Bill & Ted Face the Music. I knew that the original movie, by reputation, was shockingly fun with an irreverent sense of humor. That despite the two main characters being stereotypes, there was something special about this series. But still, my…

There’s a lot of amazing modern sci-fi, fantasy, or horror series to stream. But there’s also some classic—and iconic—shows that every fan of those genres should experience at least once. And a lot of them you can still watch online. So, to broaden horizons and nudge a new generation of fans toward seminal classics, here’s…

Ghosts of War Shows So Much Initial Promise Ghosts of War has given me mixed feelings ever since I finished watching it. Even as I type this, I am unsure of what to make of this movie. It is two ideas wrapped into one, and one half is so much better than the other. The basic…

Volition Is Much Smarter Than It Initially Seems Volition was the movie I didn’t know I needed. It was refreshing and enjoyable to get a film deftly and almost immaculately telling a story of time travel, premonitions, and cause and effect. Volition doesn’t start off seeming that way, though. At first, it gives off a vaguely…

Lab Rat Is Another Thoughtful Bit Of Sci-Fi I was fortunate enough to get to see Lab Rat before the movie was released online for streaming. And, upon mentally preparing for the writing of this review, my immediate thought is it is nice to see that classic-style sci-fi stories are still being made. Because that’s…
