My biases for Owl House on the table: I was so excited about everything I’d heard coming out of the show that I’d seen so many spoilers before I sat down to review the first three episodes of the second season.
It’s a delight to hear Billy Crystal reprise his role. However, we must look past that nostalgia and see it as a new show. And, in that regard, it’s a letdown
This review of Loki might be shorter than a usual show review. During my initial impressions (if I may have this ego trip), I was spot on with how the series would feel. But what I’d failed to guess was how far they would take this premise.
Loki is the best thing that Marvel has made since perhaps The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. I’ve yet to see the latest Spiderman, so there’s that gap, but the quality of this show is not to be underestimated.

With the doors opened by Deadpool, we were bound to see another R-rated Marvel comedy. But M.O.D.O.K. was not the villain I would’ve expected.
Having now read the entire Chaos Walking trilogy (except the short stories), I figured I’d continue this article, and discuss new themes and plot machinations.
I’ll admit I took three or four days to finish my three-episode watch of Jupiter’s Legacy. This was partially due to scheduling issues, but also because this is one of the most uneven, disjointed, awkward superhero series I’ve ever had the displeasure of slogging through.
As far as I can tell, The Bad Batch is essentially more Clone Wars. The voice actors, the animation style, it’s all being reused. The only major difference is focusing on a classic five-man band of special clone troopers.
With the movie Chaos Walking out—which I haven’t seen—I figured it would be a good idea to review the book it was based on: The Knife of Never Letting Go.
If the scant episodes of DuckTales featuring Darkwing Duck are anything to go on, then the Disney+ remake will be excellent. The bits that we’ve seen so far are both love letters to the series and poke fun at the show’s nature.
This is unfortunate for several reasons. One being because Darkwing Duck is a great show. I understand now why it has the fanbase it does, and why they bothered to include it in DuckTales.
