The Cellar Letters is the first podcast I’m reviewing that I didn’t like. Its first few episodes have many problems that ejected me from the narrative. Because of limited review time and well over forty episodes, I’ll concede the podcast may leverage its ideas later to great effect, but the initial impressions were medium to bad.

Before listening to The Storage Papers, I never thought a podcast could scare me as much as The Magnus Archives. That the mind-melting, the dark-is-dangerous thrill it gave me was the peak of horror storytelling.
The Magnus Archives is a podcast—and after 200 episodes, I’ve listened to the whole thing. Twice before, I’ve spoken about the series and how it progressed, and now we can bring the talk home to roost.
Four months ago, I reviewed The Magnus Archives. I’d only listened to ten or so episodes and thought I understood how the series would go. Now, approaching the 100th episode, I’ve gone deep into the series, its lore, and eagerly await what’s coming next—both what I’ve spoiled for myself and the mysteries yet to come.
I slept on The Magnus Archives for far too long, considering how much praise I was exposed to beforehand.
