FRIDAY FICTION: Wartime Stories

0

By D. Alexander on February 21st, 2014

Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please? You’ve been patient. You’ve been diligent. You’ve been loyal. Now, for demonstrating such tremendous qualities, such incredible attributes, such unbelievable resolve, you shall be rewarded! Friends, bloggers, Earthlings, lend me your ears! The time has come, yet again, for you to get your proper dose of excitement, adventure, and intrigue! People of the Net, without further delay, I present to you this week’s Friday Fiction!

Now, this week isn’t just any old Brandon Scott week. You’ll need set aside some time to get through all this (unless you’ve been keeping up from the start, in which case, get ready). You may have an inkling of what is to come already, those of you with sharper wits about you, but for the layman certain aspects of Mr. Scott’s tales will have, indeed, gone unnoticed. To you, I say participate in that which those who haven’t kept up are about to undertake.

That’s right, boys and girls. This week, if you wish to fully comprehend the story that Brandon Scott has crafted for you, it is strongly advised that all previous stories written by the author be read. They include:

1. “Garbage Man”

2. “See You in the Morning”

3. “The Calm“

4. “Lonely”

5. “Wonderland”

Once these previous titles have been read (or reread, in some of your cases), the sixth story can then be wholly appreciated. Ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves for a satirical, yet chilling tale of a world where the past means nothing and survival hangs by a thread. To the faithful, to the steadfast, to you, beloved readers, we present…

…”Wartime Stories“.

That’s all for this week, folks. Until next time, this is the Fictionmonger letting you know it’s always Friday somewhere!

(NOTE: That joke’s going to be a lot less funny five hours from now.)
