Now, for demonstrating such tremendous qualities, such incredible attributes, such unbelievable resolve, you shall be rewarded! Friends, bloggers, Earthlings, lend me your ears! Imagine, if you will, a series of spaceships housing all of humanity.

Now imagine the level of work it would take to keep such locations livable and pleasant.

In this story, we take a quick snapshot of what working on such a ship is like. Our main character, Terrence, has been told to handle an issue—unfortunately, he’s got a new employee shadowing him today.

It’s a low-stakes story, with high-worldbuilding, and it’s called: “Spaceship Maintenance Professional.”
