Friday Fiction: The Grasshopper

HELLO EVERYONE, may I have your attention, please?! You’ve been patient! You’ve been diligent! You’ve been loyal! Now, for demonstrating such tremendous qualities, such incredible attributes, such unbelievable resolve, you shall be rewarded! Friends, bloggers, Earthlings, lend me your ears! What would you do if a grasshopper came to your door?

That’s the absurd question at the heart of this surreal short story from Brandon Scott.

It’s so absurd, actually, that revealing any more of this tale would be too much of a spoiler.
