During World War II, weaking U.S. Army reject Steve Rogers takes part in a secret government experiment that results in him becoming the super-soldier dubbed Captain America. After being frozen in suspended animation for sixty-odd years, Cap awakens in modern-day America and is confronted with a changed world and new battles.
