Ah! That’s right. Those timeless classical toys, you can entertain people of all ages with, some never get old and can last for generations, others, one hit wonders making an appearance seasonally. But rarely does a well created game or toy get unnoticed, always there in your cupboard collecting dust waiting for its next batch of people, ready to put a smile on families and friends. Whether it’s a board game or toy it’s always good to rest your eyes from the screen occasionally.
A fantasy adventure role playing board game, though copied and attempted by other companies, its quality and originality, has always remained the top dog. One of the most popular, oldest games available which sparked the production of sequels, films and games.
As Risk is the most popular game around at the moment in strategy, and Star Wars the most successful movie franchise of all time, someone had the ingenious idea to mix the two together. What you get as a result, is some very happy fans, both sides will appreciate the structure of the game and it’s many fun features.
The intrigue in Star Wars is destined to be around forever and though this is mainly geared towards the younger generation, I believe any granddad could easily have fun with this, and it makes for a good behavior stick though not condoling violence.
No particular theme, no particular concrete audience or any hidden surprises, it is what it is and in its simplest way that’s why we love it. No matter how old you are, or where your from anyone will happily go to the top of those stairs and watch this spring seemingly walk down.
It’s scientific, simple and superb.
Since the very earliest recordings from mankind’s travels and outlook on life, from Atilla the Hun, to Galileo or the master Harry Houdini there has always been a fascination of Magic and it’s existence. Houdini a great magician of his time who inspired and interested a generation, once said.
“I do not believe that ghosts or spirits exist.”
To have such people surprised by a belief is evidence he was a solid magician.
