Best Most Incredible Future Films

0

By azzib287 on January 26th, 2013

Any film could look futuristic and scientific but not necessarily be a good movie. Do you see where it’s going? Yes this list will house top 5 of the most fantastic future, feature films. (To many F’s?) With all the great ingredients you find with great movies. Now without further a do, the list.

Fifth Element – How can you not have this one on a top 5 list, the sugar coated and exaggerated version of what the future holds. Yes, but some fantastic imagination from the underrated notable works of director Luc Besson. In this, an ancient discovery that may put the world in jeopardy, is reluctantly stumbled upon by a retired agent, where an answer may lye with a unique women who goes by the name of “LeeLoo.”

I’Robot – Will Smith finds the world or part of it, in a predicament yet again, so it’s up to him to come up with a solution to an interesting conspiracy, that will leave you with some great looking visual effects. Don’t expect massive Oscar winning moments, but if you want entertainment that’s more down to earth than the feature above, then it’s worth a watch.

The Matrix – Some superb action sequences, dialogue, mystery and one of the most appealing things about this film, when it first, came onto our screens, was the joy of watching it over and over again, mainly to make sense of it. Probably still fully don’t understand it!

The Hunger Games – The most recent film out of the 5, but even if it was 5 years old, seeing the chilling realization of this world and what a select few have to do in order to survive it, will probably still live long in the memory. Recommended but not for the faint hearted.

Blade Runner – The mother of all future films, directed by Ridley Scott, of course after his prior fame Alien, threw this little gem out there. Not many other films have sparked such a controversial hysteria among sci-fi fans on and off the set, it spends no time in getting to the meaningful metaphors, of our habits and many have said it’s one of the best if not the best sci-fi film of all time. A true stunning portrayal of a futuristic world we probably don’t want and some alarming visuals that can be relatable in today’s society.
