Zarg Attack!
From the husband and wife team of Rachel Luttrell-Bateman (a.k.a Rachel Luttrell) and Loyd Bateman comes “Zarg Attack!”. It’s the couple’s first project under their fledging production company Feral Child Productions LLC. and the first installment of what will be a series of pulp style short films.
Zarg Attack was written by Rachel who played Teyla Emmagan in the hit TV series Stargate Atlantis for five seasons, and directed by Loyd Bateman an award winning cinematographer and a veteran stunt performer appearing in over 50 feature films including Oblivion, Underworld (Rise of the Lycans and Awakening), and Ceasar: Rise of The Planet Of The Apes.
Zarg Attack! is a fun light hearted family film with a great sci-fi twist. This first film asks: “Can the evil robot from a young boy’s comic book come to life? Can the little boy, armed with his toy laser gun and a fist full of gumption destroy the alien invader before it destroys everything, all in the time it takes for Mom and Dad to finish dinner?” All told from the perspective of the little boy.
The couple, who are parents of young children, where inspired to create something playful that would appeal to audiences of all ages.
The film stars Rachel Luttrell-Bateman, Connor Trinneer (of Star Trek and Stargate Atlantis fame) and introduces Caden Dar Bateman (Rachel and Loyd’s son) as the little boy.
Future installments will follow the family on their various adventures and will reveal more about the parents too. After all it’s no accident that their son is so cool….
