From the team that bought you such smash hit franchises like Call of Duty and Prototype. Activision’s Transformers: Fall of Cybertron finally seems to be a game worthy of people’s attention, where the first gave you a satisfactory entertaining gaming experience, this has noticeable varied improvements. Certainly fans of the animated series and the highly entertaining films would do well, to give this a rent, or borrow from a friend. Hey! If you ask nicely they could give it to you for a week or so, you’d be silly not to fetch it.
The animation in the game is fantastic enough to give you a real sense of the combat, war and the ever on-going personal struggle between the Decepticons and Autobots. The overall scope is large and robots vary in size, which are all impressively designed, with of course alien advance weaponry, different abilities with certain characters and probably the most intriguing ingredient of all, changing into vehicles.
Yes the gameplay runs smoothly, controls are not too difficult to learn and you feel a sense of excitement and satisfaction while your battling, so stop reading this and get Transforming.
Why some tend to glance to the next game or film when they see Transformers on the shelf, is because they feel that robots are difficult to fathom or connect with, due to such incredibly advance technology etc. But what one must remember is that they’re not robots in the literal sense, as the core of their existence is mainly alien and part human, due to their supreme intelligence and connection with humans this being mainly Autobots obviously, as the Decepticons despise the human race, not much you can see in that.
What is a very nice contrast, is though the Autobots are very much a species way ahead of us, their morale’s are old fashioned and can be very relatable, who believe in honor, loyalty and friendship, but equally have similar bad habits as we do.
In conclusion, the game has sparked gradual interest surfacing enough above the other obvious hits, to give people a varied and enjoyable Sci-Fi experience at one of the most famous events in the Transformer world.
