You know what it’s like looking through your T.V. guide, but still not finding anything quite interesting to watch as there’s so much crap on these days, thrilling T.V. on your evenings in, you say. Here at Sci-Fi Bloggers we aim to help you, looking at this top 5 list in Sci-Fi and Fantasy television will surely get you buying the box sets in no time.
5) True Blood
This is from the creator of Six Feet Under, who has a slightly darkened and complacent style to his shows and True Blood is certainly no different, in fact the only difference from Six Feet to True is that True is even more darker and violent, as vampires are in the mix falling in love with humans. (Of course) As far-fetched as a story can go, is this show, who would not want to have a picnic or a nice tan.
4) Falling Skies.
As far as Sci-Fi alien invading T.V. shows go, this one isn’t all that bad. To sum up it’s a classic alien invasion story, with a group of people banding together to kick “them” up the arse into the right direction, back home from once they came.
This is the true definition of Science Fiction, as a family in an ever growing polluted world, travel back in time, 86 million years to the age of the dinosaurs, could happen! In order to rebuild a new home and make another go at making a better world than the one they have already, it seems in this world the story is placed, the people have gone through a lot of trouble to make the world a better place, perhaps coming up with better recycling strategies would have been less expensive.
2) The Walking Dead
This is one of the most enthralling T.V. shows with probably the most effective storylines ever conceived within this genre, fantastic plot twists, character development and fluent continuity.
1) Dr Who
See for yourselves, the most continuous, long running (since the mid 90s) and appealing T.V. show in the world.
