There’s the fact that author Stephanie Meyer considers the novel to be unfilmable because of to Renesmee, Bella’s baby. (The book focuses on Bella and Edward’s marriage and her subsequent pregnancy.) Meyer believes that an actress could not play Renesmee because she is a baby but has complete awareness. “The one thing that I’ve never seen is a CGI human being who truly looks real,” Meyer stated.

Meyer did however add that “they develop amazing new technologies everyday, and we’ve got a little time left.”
