Thing was scariest movie of my childhood.
Although John Carpenter's re-make of Thing From Another World was gory, I believe that the director had every best intention in mind during the development process. With the "New Hollywood" leaning so heavily on film productions to turn a quick profit, I'm worried that many creative corners will be cut. I am hoping for the best. I really love this story.
