Star-Lord and Captain America Face Off
Is it a battle for the ages? A Marvel crossover event? No, it’s just a little Twitter feud.
Chris Pratt, better known as Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy, and Chris Evans, also known as Captain America, are having a bit of a beef via social media. The two stars were at each other’s throats.
@ChrisEvans We both know there’s only one Captain America and his name is Russell Wilson. #SuperBowlBound #LOB #Repeat

So actually it was all in good fun and no one became aggressive in any way. If you have no clue what goes on in the sports world, let me catch you up. Pratt’s team, the Seattle Seahawks, squeaked out a win against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship to head to the Super Bowl again after winning it just last year. Chris Evans’ New England Patriots had a not-so-difficult, and perhaps not-so-legal, time defeating the Indianapolis Colts 45-7. Then the stakes raised.
@ChrisEvans OK. Seahawks win you fly yourself to Seattle, visit @seattlechildren hospital as Captain America, waving the 12th man flag.

@prattprattpratt I accept. And when the Patriots humiliate your seachickens, I expect Star-Lord to arrive at @chris_haven in a Brady jersey
— Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) January 21, 2015
So either Captain America will be visiting the Seattle Children’s Hospital, or Star-Lord will be strolling through Christopher’s Haven, which is a place that houses families of kids who are receiving treatment for cancer. It sounds like everyone really wins.
The two have been going back and forth at one another, with Pratt mentioning the “DeflateGate” scandal surrounding New England’s win, or Evans questioning what a Seahawk is anyway. If I were you, I’d be watching your Twitter feed on February 1st for some intense game time heckling. You can follow Pratt right here, and Evans right here.
Evans will appear in May’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and will soon begin filming for Captain America: Civil War, which is expected to come out May 6, 2016. Pratt is currently starring on TV’s Parks and Recreation and will star in the upcoming Jurassic World, which will be released this June.
So who are you rooting for? Seahawks or Patriots? Pratt or Evans? Star-Lord or Captain America?
