Sci-Fi IRL: Spring Break In Space (Sort of)

If you’re in Europe, or planning to go, you may want to spend a few nights in Croatia at the Subspace Hostel.

European spring and summer vacations are often spent in hostels, especially when you’re in college or on a limited budget. So why not spice things up a bit and satisfy your inner sci-fi buff, without breaking the bank.

The Subspace Hostel is in Croatia’s capital, Zagreb on, fittingly, Nikola Tesla street. The hostel features “space capsule” chambers and futuristic themed decor throughout.

You won’t have to do without your gadgets either, each capsule features a flat screen TV and control panel with the ability to connect your laptop or tablet.

From Subspace Hostel: “…the subspace hostel has an amazing staff, completely dedicated to making your stay in Zagreb a vacation your will never forget. The café inside the hostel, where guests can relax and have a drink, is superbly decorated with space motif wallpapers. So, if you are planning a trip to Zagreb, plan to stay at Subspace for memorable and unique comfort.”

The Subspace Hostel is listed on major travel sites for bookings. Learn more at the Subspace Hostel website.
