Of all next-generation video game talk going around, the only question on my mind is, when will the Mad Max game come out? Well, to be fair, that and along with Kingdom Hearts III, but that game seems to be going the way of the fourth Mad Max movie in just never quite coming out (I sincerely hope we finally get Mad Max: Fury Road, a movie that been in development for so long the project is older than my younger sister, who is thirteen). I don’t care about Ryse, Dead Rising 3, or even Halo 5 for that matter (I didn’t enjoy Halo 4’s campaign story and I don’t play online), I just want to see the post-apocalyptic Australian outback rendered in an adventure that gives us the highest highs of The Road Warrior and the thrilling action set pieces along the lines of the one featured in Thunderdome.
From what is known of the game, the story will be about Max’s journey through the desert in search of the most valuable property he has ever known besides his deceased family, The Interceptor.
