Welcome to the first Friday Fiction of 2022! We’ve been busy celebrating over here in my bar. So many visitors lately! I’ve had drinks with the leader of some alternate future, a ghostly woman, and a brilliant inventor—and his assistant. But we started a story last we spoke, and I cannot simply leave you hanging.
So, without further ado, we jump back into the tale of a couple dealing with perhaps the end of the world, perhaps something deeply different from that.
