*Music cuts out*
Brandon Scott, why is this post under your name?
“Oh, umm, don’t worry about it Fictionmonger. Dylan’s a bit busy. I’ve got the story for you today.”
Is he okay?
“Yeah, he’s fine. More than fine actually. Don’t worry about it. Here, take a look at this.”
Who is Matthew Thrush?
“He’s this writer who’s in the middle of a campaign to try and get his Wattpad book to a publisher and also sent us a story for Friday Fiction. It reminds me of some of the stories I gave Dylan when I first started out on the site. This story is also from his Wattpad account. I thought you’d be intrigued.”
It’s short. Only a few pages.
“Well, yeah. It’s been awhile since you last posted something. I thought I’d give you something easy.”
*The Fictionmonger flicks through the pages.*
I see. Good stuff.
“So…”
So?
“Get on it dude!”
Right!
Hello, ladies, gentlemen, and everyone else, tonight I present to you a short story of one man with an odd affliction. From our new friend Matthew Thrush, please take a moment to explore the creeping sensation that is…
