The time has come, yet again, for you to get your proper dose of excitement, adventure, and intrigue! People of the Net, without further delay, I present to you this week’s FRRRRRRRRRRIDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY FICTIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
Sam…
…Sam, play it.
*Cue music.*
Well, hello. Did you miss me? Because I missed you too, readers. But, I’m back, and the past is the past, and it’s time we get to the future. For if there’s one thing I’ve learned on this job, through these stories, it’s that we make the future—it does not just happen to us. And, today, in this future we are making, you and I, we have a story about choices, about humanity, and about what it means to have hardship. I present Brandon Scott’s newest story, that he tells me was inspired by the veteran of tales, Dylan Alexander.
Let’s see what happens when those two authors thematically collide, shall we?
