Frankenweenie

0

By azzib287 on July 8th, 2013

From the director and producer that brought you such uniquely styled animations like “The Nightmare Before Christmas, (1993) Corpse Bride (2005) and James and the Giant Peach (1996).” Now brings to our screens once again another jittery moving, spine tingling and equally weird looking film only Tim Burton knows how to deliver:) Frakenweenie (2012).

The stories hero we follow in this is Victor, a boy who obviously (being a Tim Burton film:) invents a way to bring his beloved dog Sparky to be amongst the living once again, you can expect to be in for some shocks, with monstrous qualities included in the films running film.

It will be clear to many just by reading the title the loose connections it has to the classic story, Frankenstein.  The boy’s name “Victor” actually derives from the original “monster” movie/novel. In it, the main character is known as Victor Frankenstein the scientist who for arguments sake can be seen as a little eccentric. One of the earliest examples of science being brought into a story or film has been returned elegantly into a more pleasant narrative. That’s not to say you won’t expect a fantastic laboratory.

The look of these films are very Tim Burton weird and wonderful, but probably just weird.:) Where many of the gem like traits lie in these unusual stylized films, is in all the wonderful different characters the hero will come across, the vision and imagination isn’t like anything else your likely to see, with a few musical numbers thrown into the mix, with certain films you can be left unsure how to react to laugh, sing along or cry.

With the release due on the 17th October 2012, the film will be very much alive on screen. It’ll be alive. A live I tell you!
