Friday September 1, 2017 is the 2nd annual Force Friday!
Starting Friday and all weekend long, we can all play Find The Force, an augmented reality experience taking place in over 20,000 locations worldwide!
From September 1 – 3, there will be special displays in over 20,000 retail stores and websites where you can experience fun Star Wars interactions like never before.
From Starwars.com:
MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE NEXT GLOBAL EVENT…
FORCE FRIDAY II ARRIVES SEPTEMBER 1, 2017. The first chance for fans worldwide to take home new products inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
It looks really cool and we will certainly shelve our Amazon Prime shopping this weekend and head out to some stores to take part.
To participate, just download the Star Wars app, visit one of the stores, scan the graphic and watch the fun!
Take a photo with the app showing off your mad augmented reality photography skills, and share it on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtags #FINDTHEFORCE and #SWEEPSTAKES and you’ll be entered to win the ULTIMATE Star Wars Fan Experience that includes a tour of Lucasfilm AND tickets to the Last Jedi premiere! #Awesomesauce!
AR ready displays are in stores everywhere including The Disney Store (naturally), Toys-R-Us, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Khol’s, Gamestop, Brookstone and many more. Check out the full list of Force Friday II stores here.
The contest is not limited to the United States and Canada either! UK, Australia, Ireland, Chile, South Korea and many more countries can participate. See the full list of Star Wars Force Friday II countries here.
You can even get started early by unlocking your first AR character on the StarWars.com website here.
For complete details, official rules and instruction, visit the official Star Wars Find The Force website here.
May you Find The Force this weekend!
