6 Scary Star Trek Episodes To Stream For Halloween

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

That’s right. It’s HALLOWEEN!

And we’re kicking off Halloween season with 6 Scary Star Trek Episodes you can stream right now.

Here they are in no particular order.

1. Star Trek Voyager – Macrocosm (Season 3.12)

Janeway & Neelix return from an away mission only to find the ship empty and under attack by a flying virus the size of dogs. Yikes! Here we get to see, for the first time, Captain Janeway’s soldier abilities proving she’s not just a pretty scientist.

2. Star Trek TNG – Night Terrors (Season 4.17)

Searching for a lost star ship, the crew finally locates it, it’s adrift yet fully functional and the entire crew is already dead save one, a Betazoid like Deanna. While Deanna begins having a recurring nightmare, Dr. Crusher discovers that the crew died at each other’s hands.

When the Enterprise tries to leave, they find themselves stuck as well. Will they now share the same fate? Or can Deanna and the ill fated ship’s Betazoid be able to save them?

3. Star Trek TOS – And The Children Shall Lead (Season 3.4)

The Enterprise arrives at the planet Triacus to rendezvous with its expedition team only to witness the death of the final team scientist and find the remaining team members dead – by their own hands. Is there a pattern here?

With the team’s children seemingly unphased, the away team returns with them to the Enterprise where they begin chanting to summon a green glowing man – Gorgan – their new leader. Gorgan has apparently bestowed powers to the children that enable them to take control of the Enterprise so they can take him to his desired destination.

4. Star Trek Enterprise – Vanishing Point (Season 2.10)

This transporter malfunction episode has communications officer Hoshi believing she is dead when none of the crew can see or hear her, she is able to pass through objects and she begins losing her translation skills.

As the crew morns her loss and she wanders the ship unable to interact with the world around her, she wonders what will happen to her next.

5. Star Trek Deep Space 9 – Empok Nor (Season 5.24)

A away mission to DS9’s to an abandoned Cardassian sister space station for needed parts finds two Cardassians in stasis tubes, dead inhabitant skeletons and a drug that turns Garak into a killer.

Definitely a mini-horror episode with the requisite jump scares.

6. Star Trek Voyager – The Haunting of Deck 12 (Season 6.25)

One of my personal favorite Trek Halloween episodes, The Haunting of Deck 12 has Neelix caring for the children by telling them a ghost story while the power is out ship-wide. They believe the story is fiction. But is it?
