ANIME: Ghibli Film Fest 2017 – Coming to a Theater Near You

Calling on anime and Studio Ghibli fans! Ghiblifest 2017 has your name written all over it.

GKIDS and Fathom Events are teaming up this summer and fall to bring you 6 months of Studio Ghibli’s best films in theaters.

The 6 month line-up includes My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Castle In The Sky and more and will be in theaters for two-showings a month starting this June.

The showings will be on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings beginning June 25th and continuing through November 27th.

Sunday afternoon showings will be voice-dubbed in English and Monday evening showings will feature English sub-titles.

 

Here’s the schedule:

“My Neighbor Totoro” – Sunday, June 25 and Monday, June 26

“Kiki’s Delivery Service” – Sunday, July 23 and Monday, July 24

“Castle In The Sky” – Sunday, August 27 and Monday, August 28

“Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” – Sunday, September 24 and Monday, September 25

“Spirited Away” – Sunday, October 29 and Monday, October 30

“Howl’s Moving Castle” – Sunday, November 26 and Monday, November 27

Sunday afternoon shows will be at 12:55 p.m. local time, and Monday showings will be shown at 7:00 p.m. local time.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting www.FathomEvents.com and gkidstickets.com or at participating theater box offices.

They also have a series pass which you can get through Cinemark and Regal for $60.

Plus, for a limited time only, Cinemark Connections members unlock an exclusive poster reward.  With Regal, the first 5,000 series pass purchases will receive an exclusive, mounted decommissioned 35mm Spirited Away film cell.

So mark you calendars and grab a season pass early to claim your free Studio Ghibli collectable.
