Welcome to The OneStop Apocalypse Shop!

By Keyoka on October 21st, 2014

Screw the scream queens and the inklings of societal destruction. Screw the hiding underground and the looting. We are past the stage of figuring out how to vanquish demons, fight werewolves and learn how to stop friends and family from becoming monsters. I say, we just let ‘em out the cage and see where the chips fall! Could mankind truly survive and cohabitate alongside the supernatural?

David Walker and his team at Permuted Pictures bring you The OneStop Apocalypse Shop, a dark comedy that will have you cringing at the gore and bursting with laughter about a job we all might like a crack at.

Based on the acclaimed book series, The Apocalypse Shift by Derek J. Goodman, this film adaptation allows viewers to enter Caleb’s world, where vampires, zombies, and other things that go bump in the night roam freely, instead of lurking in alleyways, abandoned buildings, and nightmares when the sun goes down. It’s a simple decision to take the graveyard shift at the local convenience store, but Caleb and his co-workers are thrust into the kind of mass destruction that’ll make heroes out of all of them yet. An impending apocalypse forces the group to band together and start looking for culprits with sticky fingers. But what do you do when everyone looks like a suspect?

Grassroots at its best, Permuted Pictures wants your help to get this film made. The company is using the innovative Kickstarter, a fundamental link that will connect you to thousands of creative projects (including The OneStop Apocalypse Shop) that need a little boost to get their magic to a physical form. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be a part of this unique sci-fi universe!
