WEEK OF CHAOS: “See You in the Morning” and “The Calm”

Tuning in…

Welcome back, folks! The Week of Chaos continues with TWO short stories from Brandon Scott, the SECOND SET so far. Prepare to be…

*Cue music.*

…unprepared.

Our first tale is one about innoncence and what happens when one is deprived of such in the face of a grim reality. What will become of her when she accepts the truth? Will she even accept it? Find out in…

…”See You in the Morning”. Click here to read.

Our second story, or rather third (read this), is morbid. It gives us a look into what happens when two lives become entangled, and only one truly understands the nature of what is occurring. Please, give me not another moment to delay you. As the Fictionmonger, I am pleased to reitroduce yet another classical tale from the chaotic mind of Brandon Scott. Ladies and gentlemen, behold…

…”The Calm.” Click here to read.

That is all for today, my friends. Please tune in tomorrow for yet another chapter in our Week of Chaos. Until next time, this is the Fictionmonger telling you to keep calm and monger on (oh, shut up. You think of something better).

Remember to sign up for our mailing list on the right side of the front page. You never know what special treats you’ll find in there. Also, be sure to check out Brandon Scott’s website by clicking here.

Stories are important. Stories feed the mind and inspire the heart. They lift the spirit and challenge the imagination. They have the ability to predict what the future will be, and have the power to reveal the past in a light unseen before. Stories take people to worlds they thought never existed, worlds they thought couldn't exist. But they can, and they do. Stories make them a reality. Stories make them into truth. Don’t underestimate them (don’t tell me you haven’t before, we all have, even me). They are, collectively, the gateway to utopias, dystopias, kingdoms, planets and universes unlike anything on Earth—or, in some cases, all too much like Earth. Stories can wake people up from their brainwashed states and get them active in the world, doing things they wouldn't have had they not heard or read or seen them. Stories can save lives. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE STORIES, AND DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE YOUR ABILITY TO CREATE THEM.
