The cast and crew for Thor will soon start preparing for the production of the film. On Thursday, December 3, actress Jaimie Alexander posted an update on her Twitter page, informing that she will begin rehearsals for the superhero film next week.
The filming of Thor itself will start in the middle of January 2010.
Thor is an epic adventure that spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. The story centers on Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. He later learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
