Going into Moon Knight, I had few expectations. I wasn’t familiar with the character. All I knew about them was that Moon Knight had more than one personality, and at least one of them had superpowers.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings is an incredible movie held down by only one thing: its hero’s journey parts. Unlike a lot of films dealing in mythical storytelling, its structure is a detriment.
The problem with reviewing Hawkeye is not that it’s bad, but that it’s so consistently good, in that specific Marvel way, that to describe it in usual terms doesn’t work.
This review of Loki might be shorter than a usual show review. During my initial impressions (if I may have this ego trip), I was spot on with how the series would feel. But what I’d failed to guess was how far they would take this premise.
Loki is the best thing that Marvel has made since perhaps The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. I’ve yet to see the latest Spiderman, so there’s that gap, but the quality of this show is not to be underestimated.
With the doors opened by Deadpool, we were bound to see another R-rated Marvel comedy. But M.O.D.O.K. was not the villain I would’ve expected.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has garnered quite a reaction online, and I’d heard snippets of opinions regarding the show’s first episode (which is all there is at time of writing). However, when I do these reviews, I try my best to make sure I go in as blind and unbiased as possible.
WandaVision is one of the freshest, strangest, most experimental things that the Marvel cinematic universe has produced. And considering Guardians of the Galaxy exists, that’s quite a thing to say.
Marvel is at it again with a great looking trailer for the long anticipated solo hero film Black Widow. A “prequel” or backstory film, Black Widow aims to tell the origin story for the fan favorite Black Widow character and hopefully (probably) show us what “just like Budapest” means.
