new crowdfunded sci-fi short ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US seeks donations!

A new sci-fi short called ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US, inspired by the famous Internet meme and line of dialogue from a video game, is currently on Kickstarter seeking funds.
The story is a futuristic tale of underground crime bosses who use mind control to turn ordinary citizens into criminals, essentially “live” video-game characters operated by the Mob.  Described as Goodfellas meets The Matrix, the film is a unique blend of cutting-edge science fiction and gritty urban drama.
Some of the talent involved includes director Russell Costanzo, whose short “The Tested” won the L.A. Shortfest and became an indie feature on Netflix and iTunes; writer/producer Jeff Haber, whose sci-fi short “Against the Wall” was seen on G4TV, iTunes, VUDU, Ain’t It Cool News, and was named a Notable Project by Amazon Studios; actor Russ Russo, who recently appeared in NBC’s “Revolution,” starred in indie films “Blue Collar Boys” and “The Projectionist” and did episodes of “Law and Order” and”Sex and the City”; and Doug Purver, a special effects artist currently at work on a Steven Soderbergh TV series for Cinemax.
To make a donation or learn more about the project, go to the ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US Kickstarter page at http://kck.st/1aqGphg
