INDIE: Asteria Short Film by Josh Crute

0

By Elion D on June 28th, 2017

Every once in a while we get a submission that really, really excites our passion for art and science fiction. Asteria, is one such story.

Built on a solid foundation of emotionally stirring music from renowned sci-fi composer Gustav Holst [The Planets], Asteria is a short, compelling tale told in relative silence. Watch it now, and enjoy.

In 2080, five artists were commissioned by Earth to paint the wonders of the universe.

Only 4 returned.

From Josh:

Asteria is “a lyrical sci-fi film in the spirit of Fantasia, The Little Prince, or Ray Bradbury, with some echoes of 2001: A Space Odyssey.”
