Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please? You’ve been patient. You’ve been diligent. You’ve been loyal. Now, for demonstrating such tremendous qualities, such incredible attributes, such unbelievable resolve, you shall be rewarded! Friends, bloggers, Earthlings, lend me your ears! The time has come, yet again, for you to get your proper dose of excitement, adventure, and intrigue! People of the Net, without further delay, I present to you this week’s Friday Fiction!
Now, this week is an interesting one. As you may be aware, Dylan Alexander has been spending the last two weeks preparing the next episode of Path to Nowhere. It will be either the final or next-to-last chapter of Volume One. Now, with the said, the tale will not be told this week, for the reason that Alexander will not have it published until it has been meticulously crafted and edited to the point that it is, in his eyes and in those of the many artists who collaborate with him, as close to perfect as possible. So, one should not view this as a negative, rather a grand positive, for as far as I, the Fictionmonger, am concerned, the need for extra time to write and create is quite indicative of the care put into the work. I for one wouldn’t mind if it took another two weeks for the piece to be completed. And better yet, for those who aren’t caught up, you can read the first, second, third, and fourth episodes of Path to Nowhere right here on Sci-Fi Bloggers!
