In human history, the things people regularly drink have profoundly affected the course of civilization.

Once, before purification processes were as trustworthy, alcoholic beverages were preferred to potentially disease-tainted water. This meant that people were inebriated more often. Then, we found coffee and caffeinated tea, and things changed again.

Now, we consider one possible future, where humanity has adopted three different drinks, a mix of special powder and water, each with a powerful effect.
