China will launch their first space station Tiangong-1 (Heavenly Palace) in 2011 and it will dock with a Shenzhou-8Â spacecraft in orbit around the Earth in 2011.
The planned 2011 docking would be remotely carried out by scientists on the ground and would not involve taikonauts. However, a more recent report from the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) meeting in Beijing is that Shenzhou-9 spacecraft with taikonauts aboard will dock with the space station and attached Shenzhou 8 attachment in 2011.
China is third country who sent own astronaut into space (with own space program).
