Leading up to its release date, Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight trailers and DLC packages have been dropping left and right. They really, really want you to pre-order before June 23rd.
In a trailer dropped just this week, we get a look at the action through Harley Quinn’s eyes. She’s not messing around with Gotham PD. It was announced that if you pre-order, you can play Quinn in a story mission. Check it out.
In another trailer, those who order from GameStop will gain access to an exclusive story pack as Red Hood. Bam!
These are tacked on to exclusive skins, a prototype Batmobile if you pre-order from Wal-Mart, booster packs from Best Buy and Tesco and costume skins from Steam. Content varies based on retailers.
After being delayed twice, Arkham Knight is finally about to see the light of day. The game is the last of the Arkham series from Rocksteady and focuses on Batman after the events of Arkham City. The city of Gotham is feeling at ease with the Joker dead and gone, but Batman is a little unnerved. The calm of the city means that his foes will have plenty of time to come up with a plan to end him for good. The first to step up is Scarecrow, and his actions cause the evacuation of the city leaving only the bad guys versus a small group of the good guys, and it’s up to Batman, as per usual, to keep the peace.
Being released on June 23rd, the game is available on Windows, OS X, Linux as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s already been receiving a crazy amount of hype and awards like Best of Show and Best Action/Adventure Game from The Game Critics Awards. Will you be checking out Arkham Knight? #BeTheBatman
